Maker Profile: Rosa Pietsch
Whilst we're closed, we want to do all we can to support the amazing community of makers and small businesses who we are lucky enough to work with, we will be sharing work on our social media and blogs, introducing you to some of the brilliant makers we stock.
Today we get to talk about Rosa Pietsch, who produces stunning jewellery from her studio in London. We haven't introduced many of our jewellery brands, but jewellery is a big part of our shop. Rosa's intricate, colourful designs are among our most popular.
"Rosa Pietsch creates strikingly original designs that mix materials, textures and processes. All designs are lovingly crafted by hand in London. Inspiration comes from a wide and eclectic range of sources, from vintage prints and embroideries to contemporary geometric shapes." - Rosa Pietsch
"After initially training in womenswear design, Rosa spent several years working in textiles and accessories for womenswear brands. Alongside this she began developing her own range of handmade jewellery, and in 2012 began selling her designs online and in person." - Rosa Pietsch
"Rosa has developed her own creative processes, combining laser-cutting technology with handmade and hand-finished techniques, resulting in pieces that are truly unique, each slightly different from the last. Designs range from intricate statement pieces, to simple yet eye-catching everyday items." - Rosa Pietsch
