—ICON is a collection of iconic photographs, recreated by Rory Carnegie and artists who have experienced homelessness. From the famous Bullingdon Club photograph (including many people now in government) to the Beatles’ Abbey Road album cover and Bobby Moore holding aloft the 1966 World Cup, ICON has images that everyone will recognise on sight.
The photographs ask you to examine these images, with people who are often disregarded or ignored now centre-stage.
The exhibition was produced by Arts at the Old Fire Station, working in partnership with Crisis Skylight Oxford.
